Know Your Score
Before You Apply

Most resumes never reach a human. Zorviai's ATS Compatibility Check scores your resume against the same criteria automated hiring systems use โ€” and tells you exactly what to fix.

Your resume might be invisible โ€” and you'd never know

Applicant Tracking Systems automatically filter and rank every resume before a recruiter sees it. A resume with the wrong formatting, missing sections, or weak keywords can score so low it's never opened โ€” even if the candidate is a strong fit.

The frustrating part: most people have no idea their resume is failing ATS. They apply, hear nothing, and assume the competition was just stronger.

Zorviai shows you your score before you submit โ€” so you can fix it first.

Seven factors. One score. Total clarity.

The ATS check evaluates your resume across every dimension that automated systems care about โ€” and grades each one individually.

๐Ÿ“

Professional summary

Is a summary present? Does it front-load your title and top keywords in the first sentence? Is it the right length (2โ€“4 sentences, under 500 characters)? ATS systems weight the summary heavily.

โšก

Skills section

Is there a dedicated skills section? Too many skills (over 50) can overload ATS parsers. Are broad category terms paired with specific product names โ€” "ERP" alongside "NetSuite", for example?

๐Ÿ“‹

Section headers

ATS systems recognize standard headers: Work Experience, Professional Experience, Education, Skills, Summary. Creative or non-standard headers get flagged โ€” the system may not know what it's reading.

๐Ÿ“ž

Contact information

Email, phone, and city/state must appear near the top of the document body โ€” not in headers or footers, which most ATS systems don't parse. Missing contact info is an automatic disqualifier.

โš ๏ธ

Formatting red flags

Tables, multi-column layouts, text in headers and footers, and special characters used as dividers all break ATS parsers. The check catches these invisible problems before they cost you a callback.

๐ŸŽฏ

Keywords & action verbs

Do your bullets start with strong action verbs โ€” Led, Developed, Managed? Are achievements quantified with numbers, percentages, and dollar amounts? Are industry-relevant keywords present?

๐Ÿ“„

File format & naming

PDF and DOCX are ATS-safe; other formats often aren't. Your filename should follow the FirstName_LastName_Resume convention โ€” some ATS systems use the filename to identify candidates.

A score out of 100. No guessing.

Every ATS check returns a numeric score with a plain-English verdict โ€” so you know exactly where you stand and whether your resume is ready to submit.

80โ€“100

Strong

Your resume is well-formatted, keyword-rich, and ready to clear ATS filters. You're competing on merit, not getting filtered out on a technicality.

60โ€“79

Good

Solid foundation with a few specific issues to address. The ranked fix list will tell you exactly what to improve โ€” usually one or two targeted changes is enough to push into Strong.

40โ€“59

Fair

Several sections are failing. At this score, a meaningful portion of applications are being filtered before a human sees them. The fix list is your roadmap out.

0โ€“39

Poor

Critical problems โ€” missing sections, broken formatting, or absent contact info. This resume needs significant attention before it's ready for submission anywhere.

How it works

1

Open your resume library

Go to your resume library in Zorviai. Every resume you've uploaded or generated is listed there โ€” with a Check ATS button on each one.

2

Click Check ATS

The check runs instantly โ€” no separate tool, no file upload, no waiting. The analysis opens in a panel right on the same page.

3

Review your score and sections

See your overall score, score label, and a summary verdict. Then review each of the seven sections โ€” pass, warn, or fail โ€” with a specific finding for your actual resume.

4

Work the fix list

The top fixes are ranked by impact โ€” highest priority first. Address the top three and re-run the check. Most resumes go from Fair to Strong in one revision.

Findings specific to your resume โ€” not generic advice

Generic ATS advice is everywhere. "Use keywords." "Avoid tables." You've read it. What you haven't had is someone looking at your specific resume and telling you exactly which header is non-standard, whether your skills section is too long, or that your summary is missing the keyword your target employers are scanning for.

Zorviai's ATS check reads your actual resume text and returns findings specific to it โ€” not a checklist applied to everyone equally.

๐Ÿ”

Your actual text, analyzed

The AI reads the extracted text of your uploaded resume โ€” not a generic template. Every finding is about what's actually in your document.

๐Ÿ“Š

Pass / warn / fail per section

Each of the seven factors gets a clear verdict โ€” green for pass, yellow for warn, red for fail. No ambiguity about which sections need work.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Ranked, actionable fixes

The fix list puts the highest-impact changes first. You don't have to decide what matters most โ€” the AI prioritizes it for you.

๐Ÿ”„

Re-check any time

After making changes to a resume version, re-run the check and see your new score. Iterate until you're in the Strong range before submitting.

Who benefits most

๐Ÿ˜ค

Applicants getting no callbacks

If you're applying consistently and hearing nothing, ATS filtering is often the culprit. The check tells you if that's the problem โ€” and what to fix.

๐ŸŽจ

Visually designed resumes

A resume that looks great in Canva or Word can be completely unreadable to ATS. The check catches every formatting issue before it costs you the interview.

๐Ÿ”„

Career changers

Pivoting fields means your resume needs to hit different keywords. The check tells you what's missing so you can close the gap before applying.

๐Ÿ“

Methodical job seekers

If you believe in doing things properly โ€” submitting a resume you know is ready, not one you hope is ready โ€” the ATS check is your quality gate.

Stop applying blind. Know your ATS score first.
