This policy describes how Zorviai (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and related services, including optional browser extensions. By using Zorviai, you agree to this policy.
1. Information you provide
When you create an account or use the product, you may provide:
- Account details — such as username, email address, and password (stored using standard secure hashing practices).
- Job search data — job titles, companies, descriptions, URLs, application status, notes, interviews, and similar fields you enter or import.
- Documents — resumes, cover letters, job posting PDFs, and other files you upload.
- Career profile — work history, education, skills, and contact information you choose to store in your profile.
- Billing — if you subscribe or pay through a third-party processor, payment details are handled by that processor; we typically receive limited billing metadata (for example subscription status).
2. Information collected automatically
- Cookies and sessions — we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, protect forms with CSRF tokens, and maintain basic security.
- Server logs — our hosting environment may log requests (such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps) for security and reliability.
- Rate limiting and abuse prevention — we may store short-lived records (for example failed login or API attempts) to protect accounts and the service.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Zorviai (including AI-assisted features such as parsing job text, scoring fit, and generating documents).
- Authenticate you, secure accounts, and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Communicate with you about the service (for example email verification, password reset, or important notices).
- Comply with law and enforce our terms when necessary.
4. Artificial intelligence and third-party AI providers
Some features send portions of your content (for example job descriptions, resume text, or prompts you generate) to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) to produce analyses or generated text. That content is transmitted over encrypted connections and processed according to the provider’s terms and policies. Do not submit information you are not allowed to share with such providers.
5. Chrome extension (optional)
If you use the Zorviai Job Capture browser extension:
- The extension reads the URL of the active tab and text or HTML from the page (for example on LinkedIn, Indeed, or other career sites) so you can send a job posting to your Zorviai account.
- That data is sent over HTTPS to the Zorviai server address you configure (for example
https://zorviai.com). - An extension token you create under Account → Chrome extension is stored in the browser’s local storage on your device and sent only to your configured Zorviai origin in API requests. You can revoke tokens anytime from your account.
- We do not sell extension data or use it to track you across unrelated sites for advertising.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us run the service (hosting, email delivery, payments, AI APIs), when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public. Those providers are expected to use data only as needed to perform services for us.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may delete substantial application data from your account where the product offers that control; you may also contact us to close an account or request deletion subject to legal and operational requirements (for example retaining minimal billing records where required).
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures (including HTTPS in production, secure password storage, and access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Zorviai is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. International users
If you access Zorviai from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be processed in that country or other regions where we or our providers operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
